(July 3, 2018) – Milwaukee-based Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, a member of the ALL Family of Companies, has taken delivery of six new Link-Belt truck cranes. Three different models are represented in the package: one HTC-8660, two HTC-8675 Series II, and three HTC-86100-XL, with capacities ranging from 60 USt to 100 USt.

 Mirabella, the eco-friendly, 55-and-older community located just outside Sarasota, marked its 100th Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certified home. WAUKEE, Iowa (July 2, 2018) – Holmes Murphy has joined forces with privately-owned and Minneapolis-based Cobb Strecker Dunphy & Zimmermann, Incorporated (CSDZ) in the company’s largest merger to date.

Ben Hur Construction has partnered with Ideal Contracting on the new $150-million Amazon fulfillment center in Gaines Township near Grand Rapids, Michigan. General contractor Ryan Construction Company subcontracted Ben Hur Construction for the structural steel fabrication and erection work on the project. They are on a fast-paced, 22-week schedule to start construction in September and complete the 2,225,000 square foot project in February next year.  Find out how they're helping local ironworkers here.

Felling Trailers will be moving into the sixth year of hosting its annual Trailer for a Cause online auction of an FT-3 utility trailer to benefit a non-profit organization. Felling Trailers’s goal is to bring awareness to various non-profits that are making a difference by donating 100 percent of the winning bid from the auction to a different non-profit each year. The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) has recognized John "Jack" Metcalfe with its William Davis Service Award. The award is given to an individual who has demonstrated a life-long commitment to service in the steel construction industry. It is the association’s highest honor, presented in memory of William Davis, who held board and committee positions for nearly 20 years through the 1980s and 1990s.
