CASE Construction Equipment and Tidewater Equipment supported Team Rubicon in a public service project and equipment training exercise at Camp Martha Johnson, a Girl Scouts camp in Lizella, Georgia. The training provided Team Rubicon heavy equipment operators and volunteers with valuable stick time and resulted in the complete demolition and removal of four obsolete structures on the site, as well as the cleanup and removal of past storm debris. 

Epiroc,a productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, has donated a COP 1238K rock drillto the Excavation Engineering and Earth Mechanics Institute (EMI) at the Colorado School of Mines. 

Fluor’s scope of work with Cupric Canyon Capital it Botswana includes upgrading the existing copper concentrator plant and new mine surface infrastructure. The project is expected to produce an annual average of 62,000 metric tons of copper and 1.9 million ounces of silver with a life of mine in excess of 20 years.

New construction starts in June advanced 9% from the previous month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $832.7 billion, according to Dodge Data & Analytics. The increase followed the 10% gain reported for May, as total construction starts continued to strengthen following April’s subdued performance.
