NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 7, 2025) — Monica Manolas, region president, Ash Grove East, is now the first woman in the American Cement Association’s (ACA) history to be elected chair of its board of directors. David Loomes, president of Cement Segment, Quikrete Cement, is the new vice chair. The elections took place yesterday during ACA’s 2025 Fall Meeting being held this week in New Orleans.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (July 26, 2016) – The fast-approaching presidential election is not the only government issue on the minds of small business owners this summer. Between changes in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), local minimum wage increases and employee overtime rules, small business owners are facing a triple whammy of regulatory changes, making the task of compliance more challenging.
