Ala., Ga. branches recognized for accident prevention.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (July 12, 2012) — ALL Crane Rental of Alabama was presented with the Alabama Workplace Safety Award of Superior Achievement from the State of Alabama, Department of Industrial Relations. The award was granted for “continuous operation without a lost time injury from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011.”

The award was presented to ALL Crane Rental of Alabama Safety Director Chris Fletcher and all of the branch’s employees. “We work hard at safety, every day and on every job,” says Fletcher, “so we truly appreciate Alabama’s recognition of our zero accident record for these two years.”

Both the Atlanta (Austell) and Columbus, Ga., branches of ALL Crane Rental of Georgia won Awards of Excellence from the  Georgia Department of Labor for “exceptional workplace safety.” These awards are presented to companies that maintain below-industry-average injury rates and lost-time injury rates for an entire year. This is the fourth consecutive year that Atlanta has received this award, and it is the first award for the Columbus branch.

As a corporation, ALL invests more than 50,000 man-hours in service and safety training yearly. The corporate culture mandates safety to be the top priority every day, and every individual is personally accountable. Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies, says, “I’m proud of our hard-working and safety-conscious employees and want to thank them for a job well done. We are grateful to the states of Alabama and Georgia for honoring our safety efforts, but safety is a job that is never done.”
