PHILADELPHIA (November 20, 2013) — The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced that LEED v4, the newest version of the LEED green building program, launched at the annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Philadelphia on Nov. 20. LEED has been a benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings since 1998.

WASHINGTON (November 19, 2013) – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) filed a request for an injunction in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against an Aug. 27 rule from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) that drastically alters federal contractors’ existing affirmative action and nondiscrimination obligations for individuals with disabilities.
