MINNEAPOLIS (September 14, 2017) – Wenck, the Minnesota based environmental, engineering, construction and response services firm has opened a new office in Denver’s Greenwood Village and is planning to add several new employees this year.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 19, 2017) – Amteck LLC announced the acquisition of the assets and the ongoing operations of Consolidated Electrical Contractors & Engineers Inc. (CECE), one of the Southeast’s strongest electrical contractors with over 30 years of experience in design/build and construction. CECE is headquartered in Dothan, Alabama.

WEST BEND, Wis. (September 7, 2017) — In support of the communities and families affected by Hurricane Harvey, Manitou Americas has announced a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross and is challenging their suppliers to match their donation through The Manitou Challenge donation campaign.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (September 15, 2017) – Liebherr USA, Co. held an opening reception at its new sales and service center in Lodi, California on September 12.

The event took place at the facility located at 880 South Beckman Road, Lodi, California. Attendees included local customers and guests, as well as Lodi city officials.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. (September 12, 2017) — JLG Industries Inc. recently opened a new service center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. JLG adds its newest 13,800-square-foot, seven-bay facility to the company’s existing service centers in Houston, Riverside, California, and Hagerstown, Maryland.

SUGAR LAND, Texas (September 11, 2017) – After Hurricane Harvey dropped 33 trillion gallons of water on Texas, HCSS, a construction software company located in Sugar Land and known for its 24/7 instant customer support, was one of the first companies to mobilize and implement plans to assist residents to clean out flood damaged materials from their homes and raise funds to help employees rebuild. 

NEW YORK (September 8, 2017) – The Dodge Momentum Index moved lower in August, falling 2.4 percent to 129.1 (2000=100) from its revised July reading of 132.2. The Momentum Index is a monthly measure of the first (or initial) report for nonresidential building projects in planning, which have been shown to lead construction spending for nonresidential buildings by a full year.

NORCROSS, Ga. (September 7, 2017) – Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. said it is supporting Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through an immediate $50,000 corporate donation to the United Way of Greater Houston. The company is calling on its construction equipment and forklift dealers throughout North America to join in this fundraising effort before the end of the month.

BAYPORT, Minn. (August 30, 2017) — Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $175,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Andersen Corporation is donating $100,000 of windows and doors to Houston Habitat for Humanity to help with rebuilding efforts.

NATIONAL — Volvo Construction Equipment, part of the AB Volvo Group, has completed the divestment of its wholly owned British dealership to SMT. The previously announced deal was followed by a period of employee consultation, and became effective in August.
