MENASHA, Wis. (Feb. 20, 2017) – Faith Technologies recently received the 2016 Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction Award at the gold level. The company’s work on the Park Hotel in Madison was recognized at the ABC of Wisconsin Projects of Distinction awards banquet, held at the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells on February 9, 2017.

Park Hotel, formerly known as Inn on the Park, is Madison’s only Capitol-square hotel, and is located directly across from the state Capitol building. Faith Technologies’ scope of work included a complete design-build, with a redesign of the historical hotel’s façade, additions to the second and third floors, and high-end, custom-built LED lighting throughout the interior and exterior of the hotel. The 200,000-square-foot renovation also included new wiring, devices, light fixtures and fire alarm systems in all of the hotel’s 118 guest rooms.

The Projects of Distinction awards program recognizes the most distinct construction projects in Wisconsin, and showcases ABC of Wisconsin members and their employees’ quality of construction performance.

In total there were 48 winning projects submitted by 25 different contractors that were recognized at the banquet based on the following criteria: overall distinctiveness, execution of design, craftsmanship, coordination, budgeting, safety and difficult and unusual challenges. Projects had to be completed between October 2015 and September 2016 to be considered, and all general contractor and subcontractor members of ABC of Wisconsin were eligible to submit projects.
