MOLINE, IL (May 28, 2013) – Trade Show Executive magazine announced its list of the fastest-growing trade shows in the U.S., with The Rental Show among those recognized.

The Trade Show Executive Fastest 50 ranks the top 50 trade shows in three separate categories – growth in total attendance, number of exhibiting companies and net square feet of exhibit space. The Rental Show was on all three lists, one of 16 shows to appear on each.

The Fastest 50 rankings were for 2012, when The Rental Show was in New Orleans from Feb. 5-8. The Rental Show 2012 saw double-digit increases in all three Fastest 50 categories: total attendance increased 15 percent, the number of exhibitors grew 11 percent and the net square feet of exhibit space increased 13 percent.

February was the most popular month for the Fastest 50 shows, with New Orleans tied for third most popular host city. Las Vegas topped the list.

The Fastest 50 list also rated the official contractors that trade shows utilize. Two of the contractors The Rental Show works with were No. 1 – Freeman for official service contractors and Travel Planners for official housing contractors. CompuSystems, The Rental Show’s official registration contractor, was No. 2.

For 2014, The Rental Show returns to the second most popular city on the Fastest 50 rankings: Orlando, Fla. The show is Feb. 9-12, and more information is available at TheRentalShow.com.
