Former real estate CEO joins construction management firm.

 

CHICAGO, IL (July 10, 2012) – Eidco Construction announced Tuesday that Bill Carpitella has joined the firm as an executive vice president.  

Carpitella has held executive-level positions at both real estate and consumer goods companies for the past 30 years.  Formerly the CEO of The Sharrow Group, he has also worked for Hunt Real Estate, K. Hovnanian and Pulte Homes.

Prior to joining Eidco, Carpitella was a consultant at Fast Tracking Solutions and the General Manager for Hunt Real Estate, where he managed 16 offices and more than 600 real estate brokers and employees. Prior to that, he was with Sharrow for more than eight years. 

Other past positions include senior vice president of organizational development and process at K. Hovnanian Enterprises and vice president, human resources for Pulte Homes, where he was responsible for all personnel processes and change initiatives for both top-10 national builders. His consumer goods experience includes being the vice president, human resources, for companies such as Bell & Howell and Bausch & Lomb.

Carpitella is a graduate of Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and industrial relations, and his professional affiliations include NAHB and Lominger where he is an associate expert in organizational development.
