LOS ANGELES (January 20, 2016) —The winter season continues to create an inordinate amount of storm activity across North America, forcing businesses to reevaluate the priority and required functionality of their safety gear. MILWAUKEE (January 27, 2016) - The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has produced a new brush chipper safety manual that outlines safe equipment operation, start-up and shutdown guidelines and maintenance precautions for a variety of brush chipper machine types.

Manufacturer members working through AEM’s Environmental & Reduction Equipment Council (EREC) provided content development and review, with input also provided by AEM’s Forestry Equipment Council.

NATIONAL (January 27, 2016) — The Power Tool Institute (PTI) recently announced the launch of its new website. PTI’s new site features mobile compatibility and easy access to specific safety information for various tool types, including information for teachers to use in the classroom.
