HAMILTON, New Jersey (February 23, 2016) – John Heft, senior vice president and director of the real estate practice at New Day Underwriting Managers LLC will host the “Primer on Environmental Exposures & Insurance” session at the IRMI Energy Risk & Insurance Conference to be held March 1-3, 2016, in Houston, Texas.

Scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, at the Royal Sonesta Houston Hotel, the forum will cover the various approaches used to insure contractors, owners and other organizations working within the oil patch from environmental liability and related exposures.

“This conference provides an excellent opportunity to compare and contrast each environmental liability insurance form and their many pros, cons and nuances,” said Heft. “We’ll explore basic environmental exposures and then move onto the latest regulations, claims, the drivers for each insurance and coverages ranging from Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) to Pollution Legal Liability (PLL). Included will also be the newest carrier details surrounding the expansion types available to manage the risks associated with the many site and contracting exposures accompanying energy sector operations.”
