MILWAUKEE (March 3, 2016) - Exports of U.S.-made construction equipment ended 2015 with a 19-percent decline, compared to the previous year, for a total $13.9 billion shipped worldwide. All world regions experienced declines, led by Africa and South America, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), citing United States Department of Commerce data it uses in global market reports for members.

January new business volume down 12 percent year-over-year

WASHINGTON (February 24, 2016) — The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s (ELFA) Monthly Leasing and Finance Index (MLFI-25), which reports economic activity from 25 companies representing a cross section of the $1 trillion equipment finance sector, showed their overall new business volume for January was $6.0 billion, down 12 percent from new business volume in January 2015.
