NORCROSS, Ga. (September 7, 2017) – Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. said it is supporting Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through an immediate $50,000 corporate donation to the United Way of Greater Houston. The company is calling on its construction equipment and forklift dealers throughout North America to join in this fundraising effort before the end of the month.

BAYPORT, Minn. (August 30, 2017) — Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $175,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Andersen Corporation is donating $100,000 of windows and doors to Houston Habitat for Humanity to help with rebuilding efforts.

(August 2017) — OSHA published a Proposed Rule that would delay the deadline for crane operator certification by a further year until November 17, 2018. 
 
The Proposed Rule, which was expected, is intended to provide additional time for the Agency to fix language in the crane rule relating to certification by type and capacity, as well as to define the additional steps OSHA will require to ensure certified operators are qualified.
