Michael D. Lapre is the senior vice president of surety operations at NFP. He established Lapre Insurance & Surety, a surety and specialty commercial lines insurance agency, in 1984. The surety program expanded to a national level in 1996, at which time Lapre became licensed in all 50 states. Now with NFP, Lapre oversees the bonding department. NFP operates nationally and represents many of the nation's top insurance carriers. NFP is an insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property and casualty, retirement and individual solutions through its licensed subsidiaries and affiliates.
