SAN ANTONIO and PLANO, TEXAS (Sept. 30, 2025) — Zachry Construction Corporation, a heavy civil, roadways and infrastructure construction company for public and private customers, announced its agreement to acquire Crescent Constructors, a firm specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This strategic acquisition is a bolt-on expansion to Zachry Construction’s growing portfolio of infrastructure services and positions the company to better serve one of the fastest-growing segments in the construction industry: water.
Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Crescent brings more than 100 team members and a strong portfolio of water/wastewater treatment plant and lift station projects throughout North Texas. Crescent Constructors focuses exclusively on municipal and industrial water projects, developing deep experience in the design and construction of complex storage, reservoir, conveyance and treatment systems.
Crescent will continue operating under its current name as a Zachry Construction affiliate, maintaining its presence in Plano while gaining access to Zachry’s broader support network, capital resources, and market reach.
“Water is the future of infrastructure,” said Travis Mross, executive vice president of Zachry. “This acquisition ensures we are well positioned to lead in this space — for our clients, our people, and the communities we serve.”
