Purpose of the survey is to understand the impact training & fall protection activities have on falls resulting in no injuries

WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina (March 10, 2016) - The Steel Erectors Association of America is seeking participation in an industry-wide survey on successful falls from height in construction. A successful fall is defined as one where the worker experienced no injuries and returned to work immediately. The purpose of the survey is to understand the impact training and fall protection activities have on falls resulting in no injuries, and to assess the level of rescue training contractors are performing.

The 11 question survey is open to any steel erection contractor, specialty contractor or general contractor which employs craft workers who work at height. The survey will close March 21.

The survey is available at here.
