MONTREAL (NOV. 6, 2025) — CM Labs Simulations, a vendor for simulation-based training solutions in the ports, construction and utilities industries, announced an update to its Tracked Excavator add-on module featuring Trimble Autos. Developed in close collaboration with Trimble, CM Labs will debut the new integration at the 2025 Trimble Dimensions User Conference, taking place Nov.10–12 in Las Vegas.

By combining CM Labs’ soil simulation with Trimble’s advanced machine control, Trimble Autos automatically adjusts the stick and bucket to maintain precise alignment with the design surface. This intuitive feedback increases accuracy and builds efficient habits, allowing trainees to master the exact depth and alignment needed for high-quality excavation while reducing errors before operating real equipment. Building on the existing add-on module, this update makes it the only simulator solution on the market with in-depth Trimble Autos integration, according to CM Labs.

Operators can choose from multiple preinstalled design files and apply them to the scenario’s earthworks zone. This variety keeps training engaging and adds replay value, enabling trainees to practice a wide range of excavation challenges and develop skills that translate directly to the field.

Autos is currently available as part of the Trimble Earthworks add-on module and will be expanded to other earthmoving products next. It joins CM Labs’ growing catalog of existing machine control add-on modules for the construction industry.
