ARLINGTON, Va.—January 11, 2012—CliftonLarsonAllen, one of the nation’s top 10 certified public accounting and consulting firms, is pleased to announce Bob Chaney has joined the firm’s District of Columbia office as a Senior Advisor in the firm’s Forensic Accounting practice.
Chaney has extensive experience in the law enforcement and legal community in the Washington metropolitan area. He will assist with the development of investigative strategies, security reviews related to causation issues and client development.

Chaney has served as a Senior Law Enforcement Advisor to the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General, Anti-terrorism/District Office Security Manager and Chief Criminal Investigator for the District of Columbia’s U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Program Manager for the Office of Special Events of the U.S. Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General, in addition to his many years of service as a detective, officer and investigator with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C.

He has received numerous meritorious honors, service and performance awards, and certificates of appreciation from a number of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies over the past 37 years. He has also served as a volunteer investigator for the National Center for Missing Exploited Children and other safety programs. Chaney’s training and education includes programs at the University of Virginia, American University and Prince George’s County Community College
