Collyn Varnes is the director of business development for energy and construction at Aerotek. He is responsible for developing client partnerships and generating customized workforce solutions and resources for Aerotek’s oil and gas clients across Canada and the U.S. Varnes joined Aerotek in 2005 as a recruiter in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and soon moved into an account management role. Varnes was then promoted to a business development manager role for Western Canada, where he spent nearly 9 years immersed in the oil and gas and construction industries. In 2006, Varnes moved into his current role. He attended Douglas College.
