Viewpoint Construction Software Acquires ACS Connect

Portland, Ore. (January 9th, 2013) – Viewpoint Construction Software has acquired mobile solutions provider, ACS Connect, which furthers their commitment to bring value-enhancing products to their customers and the construction industry. The acquisition allows Viewpoint to accelerate the expansion of their mobile product offering for both users of Viewpoint V6 Software as well as customers of other ERP or accounting packages.

Viewpoint recently partnered with ACS Connect to bring Viewpoint’s Mobile Field Manager to market in August 2012, and the product generated significant enthusiasm amongst Viewpoint’s customers. From the success of the Mobile Field Manager launch it became clear that contractors had a need for mobile applications which could capture and deliver meaningful information directly to and from the job site.  Viewpoint quickly acted on this realization bringing both the ACS product and team to Viewpoint, to rapidly build and expand upon their mobile product platform. Mobile Field Manager will be sold as a point solution that can be integrated with other construction accounting and project management solutions or as an integrated component of Viewpoint V6.
