CNA Announces SambaSafety as New Allied Vendor

CHICAGO (October 14, 2015) — CNA announced the selection of SambaSafety as the newest member of its Allied Vendor Program.

As part of this important new relationship, CNA will offer its commercial auto coverage policy holders SambaSafety’s driver risk management services at a significantly discounted rate. The SambaSafety driver risk management platform continuously monitors drivers and delivers alerts that can improve driver performance, reduce accidents and limits risks—providing organizations with a comprehensive view of driver behavior.

“Driver safety remains a top priority, and we continually look for ways to help our customers mitigate their risk,” said Bill Boyd, senior vice president, Risk Control, CNA. “Ensuring safe driver performance starts with a robust motor vehicle records program that outlines hiring criteria and clearly communicates a company’s performance expectations and consequences. It is a key component of CNA’s three-point strategy to help our customers manage commercial auto and fleet risks.”

“CNA’s insurance expertise together with SambaSafety’s innovative solutions makes driver risk management easier than ever before,” said Richard Crawford, chief executive officer, SambaSafety. “Now, CNA’s customers can mitigate the risk that is inherent every time a member of their workforce gets behind the wheel.”

In 2007, CNA developed its Allied Vendor Program to provide its customers with access to additional risk control programming designed to create safer, more secure work environments.
