Power Solutions International Named “Customer of the Year, North America” by Doosan Infracore

WOOD DALE, Ill., (Feb. 25, 2014) – Power Solutions International, Inc., a leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of emissions-certified alternative-fuel and conventional power systems announced today that it has been named “Customer of the Year, North America” by Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd, the worldwide construction and utility equipment manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.

Doosan Infracore presented the award during the recent Middle East Electricity Exhibition in Dubai, the energy industry trade fair that took place February 11–13. Middle East Electricity hosts global energy leaders and innovators and is rated by visitors and exhibitors as the leading energy event of its kind in the world.

Doosan Infracore supports the PSI Heavy-Duty engine portfolio with diesel engine blocks that PSI gasifies for alternative-fuel capabilities. Since creating the Heavy-Duty family in 2008 to meet industrial demand for certified, alternative-fuel power systems, PSI has experienced significant sales growth for that engine line.
