Werk Brau Joins the Open-S Alliance

FINDLAY, Ohio (March 25, 2026) — Werk Brau Co. Inc., a manufacturer of attachments for the heavy equipment industry, announced that it has officially joined the Open-S Alliance, becoming the newest organization to support the global standard for automatic couplers.

The Open-S Alliance exists to bring clarity, safety and true compatibility to the attachment marketplace. By supporting an open, global standard for fully automatic quick couplers, the alliance empowers operators, dealers, rental houses and contractors to work more freely — without the limitations of proprietary systems.

Excavators equipped with Open-S compliant couplers can interchange attachments from multiple manufacturers, improving jobsite efficiency, reducing downtime and expanding equipment capability.
