May 8, 2024 — Volvo CE has taken a 22% ownership stake in VizaLogix, a U.S.-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company specializing in digital, brand-neutral solutions for machine monitoring, servicing and tech support in multiple industries.

The deal supports the Volvo CE strategy to grow services that customers are looking for as digitization and data take on increasing importance among construction and mining fleets and equipment dealers.

NATIONAL – Volvo Construction Equipment moves into a new dimension to assist customers in supplying spare parts, and as part of its commitment to the research and development of new products. As the construction industry looks to new methods for efficient production, equipment manufacturers are likewise exploring additional ways to boost productivity. Volvo CE has introduced 3-D printing in order to deliver spare parts to customers more quickly and efficiently.

NATIONAL — Volvo Construction Equipment, part of the AB Volvo Group, has completed the divestment of its wholly owned British dealership to SMT. The previously announced deal was followed by a period of employee consultation, and became effective in August.

INTERNATIONAL (January 6, 2017) - Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has announced that the company’s global headquarters will move from its current location in Brussels, Belgium, to Gothenburg, Sweden. The relocation will facilitate closer cooperation with the group’s other business areas and allow for better usage of the competence and resources of the whole Volvo Group. 

One of the contractors handling the expansion of Singapore’s Changi Airport is using Volvo equipment to ensure the demanding project stays on track

INTERNATIONAL (October 9, 2015) - Singapore Changi Airport is undergoing a multi-billion dollar expansion program. Part of the development is the construction of a new terminal, Terminal 4, which will open to the public in 2017. Changi Airport currently welcomes around 66 million passengers a year but the introduction of Terminal 4 will see that number boosted by around 16 million passengers a year.
