WASHINGTON (March 12, 2021) — The $1.9 trillion relief bill signed by President Biden today includes $10 billion in funds for the "Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund." These funds will go toward projects that "carry out critical capital projects directly enabling work, education and health monitoring, including remote options," in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each state is set to receive $100 million from this fund for use in construction and other projects. Another $219.8 billion in recovery funds will be given to states that could be used for infrastructure or construction projects.

The stimulus package also includes relief for Americans after the economic difficulties of 2020, including $1,400 payments to qualifying individuals.
