The new SK260LC Acera Mark 8 hydraulic excavator from Kobelco Construction Machinery America Co. Ltd. features technology that provides precision control for fine grading and leveling applications. Powered by a 181 hp turbocharged fuel-injected engine that is Tier III certified, the SK260LC has an operating weight of 57,300 pounds, digs to 23 feet and provides a maximum reach of 33 feet 3 inches at ground line. Alturnamats, Inc., has introduced a new 3-foot by 6-foot portable AlturnaMat. The ½-inch thick mat is designed to protect against turf damage resulting from vehicles weighing up to 60 tons. The 51-pound mats are easy to handle using two hand slots on each side.
