The new SK260LC Acera Mark 8 hydraulic excavator from Kobelco Construction Machinery America Co. Ltd. features technology that provides precision control for fine grading and leveling applications. Powered by a 181 hp turbocharged fuel-injected engine that is Tier III certified, the SK260LC has an operating weight of 57,300 pounds, digs to 23 feet and provides a maximum reach of 33 feet 3 inches at ground line. It also features an industry-exclusive Intelligent Total Control System (ITCS) that recognizes the operator’s moves and provides smooth hydraulic response. The excavator features a power mode system with four power modes to match the operator’s specific work operations.

Alturnamats, Inc., has introduced a new 3-foot by 6-foot portable AlturnaMat. The ½-inch thick mat is designed to protect against turf damage resulting from vehicles weighing up to 60 tons. The 51-pound mats are easy to handle using two hand slots on each side. They are available with the same cleat tread design as the original AlturnaMats, with cleats on both sides, on one side or smooth on both sides.

Topcon Positioning Systems has introduced SiteLINK, Topcon’s wireless communications mapping, data logging, reporting and asset management system for off-road equipment. It has the ability to work with any make, model or type of jobsite machine, regardless of manufacturer and age. The new technology is based on utilization of Mesh Radio Networks built on a standard Wi-Fi environment.

The web-based software is available to all EarthCam clients in the international construction, traffic management and security industries. EarthCam's new software enables hundreds of features of megapixel and live streaming video cameras across all major brands. Control Center 7 also offers multiple ways to pan/tilt/zoom and manage live cameras including keyboard, click to center, virtual joystick and desktop USB joystick control.
