 The John Deere 650 D LC excavator has 463 SAE net horsepower, a 15.7 L six-cylinder Tier III-certified diesel and a 30-foot digging depth. It can lift up to 41,400 pounds and has an operating weight of 152.190 pounds. The Powerwise III management system balances engine and hydraulic performance. The wide expanse of glass, narrow cab posts and numerous mirrors provide nearly unobstructed all-around visibility.

 General Equipment's 300 Series professional hole diggers provide the performance and power needed to handle heavy-duty digging projects, from commercial fencing to upscale landscaping. A four-cycle, 3,600-rpm Honda GXV160 5.5-horsepower gasoline engine powers the series, and a Lo Tone muffler reduces operating sound. A resistor-type spark plug helps with starting. To increase operator control, a Magura twist-grip throttle is positioned to maximize hand and arm strength.

 Compact Power, Inc. expands their Boxer Mini-Skid product line with the addition of a new diesel model, the 322D. The new 322D mini-skid offers accepts all of the same standard attachments as the larger Boxer models, but is a designed for landscape contractors, homeowners and especially the rental market due to its ease of operation, smaller footprint and lifting power. The 322D is a track machine and comes with 7-inch wide rubber standard. The tracks only produce 3.3 psi of ground pressure, and has a 22 HP Kubota diesel engine and a two-pump, 3,000 psi hydraulic operating system, which combined create a hydraulic flow of 9.4 gpm to power the machine's auxiliary and propulsion systems.Tags: 2009 July Issue |
