Museum to use it for their travelling display of P-51 Mustang and F-4 Phantom cockpits

LITCHFIELD, Minn. (July 24, 2015) – Towmaster Inc. donated a custom built single-axle trailer to the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum. This trailer will be further equipped with a P-51 Mustang and F-4 Phantom cockpit and used as a travelling display at air shows and special events.

“This awesome trailer will be made into a traveling display, with a P-51 Mustang and F-4 Phantom cockpit facing each other,” explained Jerry Schultz, MNANG Historical Foundation Board Member, “We will be taking this display to special events, most of those being air shows. It will be used as a tool to promote what our museum has to offer. Minnesota is rich in firsts in aviation history. For example, we are the first Air National Guard Unit in the country. We want to promote educational opportunities with the focus on aviation. We are partners with AirSpace Minnesota in promoting a new STEM SCHOOL campus and a home for a new History Center that would include the Museum.”

Towmaster founder, Harlan Palm, served in the U.S. Navy and has always been interested in airplanes. He worked with Jerry Schultz on the trailer, and turned it over to the Towmaster team.

“Towmaster supports our military and many community services surrounding it,” said Len Stulc, Towmaster's president. “We feel this is a great opportunity for MNANG to educate and promote one of our greatest treasures, and we are proud to be part of it.”
