MENASHA, Wis. (August 12, 2016) – Darin Marsden, director of virtual construction at Faith Technologies will co-lead a panel with Dan Bayer, director of virtual construction at Miron Construction Co. Inc., on building information modeling (BIM) at Constructech’s Technology Day 2016 conference on Thursday, August 18, in Schaumburg, Illinois. 

The panel, “BIM: Beyond the Basics,” will explore opportunities to utilize BIM in the office, on the jobsite, and throughout the life cycle of a building, as well as elaborate on how BIM data can be used in other construction processes. Topics for discussion will include BIM’s lifecycle, what the benefits are, why companies are leveraging it, adaption challenges and opportunities. 

Technology Day 2016 will aim to educate construction professionals on the need, technology, benefits, status, barriers, contact points and references that make technology adoption and implementation a reality.

The conference will conclude with the Women of Construction recognition and 2016 Vision Awards. In 2015, Faith Technologies was awarded the gold-level Vision Award in the specialty contractor: electrical work, $251 million to $500 million category.
