Tour brings safety training direct to users where they work

MT. PROSPECT, Illinois (June 14, 2016) – Training in the construction industry is sometimes the difference between making a profit or not – it’s that important. The only thing that makes some of the best power tool training in the industry better is when it comes to you. And that’s exactly what the 2016 Bosch Power Tools Mobile Tour is all about – bringing great training and information to the jobsite.

The 2016 Bosch Mobile Tour features stops in major North American cities to bring safety training direct to users. The tour is now underway and concludes in mid-September.

The following Bosch training programs are available on-site: dust reduction/controlling silica dust, measuring tool options and capabilities, improving productivity with cordless technology and best practice power tool safety.

In addition to jobsite visits, the Bosch Mobile Tour will be at Bosch distribution partner locations for joint training and sales events.

“The 2016 Bosch Power Tools Mobile Tour promises to be an industrywide event that highlights some of the key themes on today’s jobsite – safety and productivity,” said Greg Henderson, group manager, engagement, Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. “Everyone benefits from learning best-practice techniques right where they work. Trade professionals are hungry for this information and Bosch is the right partner to meet that need.”

Each Bosch Mobile Tour event is highlighted by a visit from the Bosch Power Tools-branded Ram 5500 chassis cab outfitted with Sortimo by Knapheide in-vehicle racking. Tour vehicles also include a customized 17-foot tool trailer.  And every tour event features hands-on tool demonstrations, including the new Bosch REAXX Jobsite Table Saw, and special pricing. Every training attendee receives a free safety vest and lunch.

Bosch representatives will be available to discuss the company’s latest power tool innovations.
