Updates & new releases to the company's product offerings

Construction Business Owner Editor Kathy Wells and Managing Editor Elizabeth Manning recently took on Nashville, Tennessee, for DeWALT Tool's Tough in the South event. Catch up on some of the newest tools in the DeWALT lineup below through the CBO team's live tweets from the event.

1. DeWALT unveiled its new ToughBox at the #ToughintheSouth event. For specifics on the storage solution, check out our Product Focus section in the September issue of Construction Business Owner magazine.

2. Editor Kathy Wells makes sure the ToughBox can stand up to the rough conditions on a jobsite.

3. Many of the updates to the DeWALT tool lineup included adding an LED light source; the brushless stripper is no exception.

4. Bigger doesn't always mean better. The new DeWALT 30-foot pocket laser distance measure features an internal lithium ion battery is charged via USB charging cable and an over-molded case housing for a secure grip and drop protection, as well as a wrist trap connection for carrying convenience.

5. Each of DeWALT's new cordless nailers offer features often found on pneumatic tools, including micro-noses (DCN680, DCN650), tool-free depth adjustment, a tool-free selectable trigger and low nail lockout.
