For small businesses who are so accustomed to private jobs, the prospect of bidding and performing on federal works is quite intimidating. Your article does an excellent job of breaking down the process, and explaining that not only is it possible...but likely, and encouraged, for small businesses to get a piece of the stimulus pie.

I'm a construction attorney in Washington and Louisiana, and operate the construction law blog: http://www.constructionlawmonitor.com.

We drafted a post about this very issue, essentially modeled after this post and the "3 Key Steps for Shifting to Public Works," also published at constructionbusinessowner.com. Our post will be published on Tuesday, Feb. 17th.

Keep up the good work, and thanks for the simple explanation. - Scott Wolfe
